Amaia Land Launches Seven Projects In 2011 ; Breaks Into Condominium Development

As more discerning homebuyers continue to fuel the country’s booming property industry, it is apparent how market attitude toward real estate is shifting from buying for investment to purchasing for end-use. Realizing this promising lead in the market, Amaia Land—the economic housing arm of Ayala Land Inc. (ALI)—aggressively moves forward at a more robust pace, encouraged particularly by the success of its pilot project, Amaia Scapes Laguna.

Amaia developments are built on pillars close to every Filipino's heart: location, style, convenience, value for money, and quality of life. With units competitively priced at about P600,000 to P1.25 million, Amaia presents an attractive offer for anyone who wants a home that is worth every hard-earned peso. In just only nine months after its launch in April, more than 50 percent of units in Amaia were sold. In fact, 66 units are ready for turn over while another 306 houses are fast being constructed. With reasonably-priced units and fast-paced construction, Amaia is conquering new frontiers.

Continuing its successful run, Amaia is looking to have another banner year in 2011 as it launches seven (7) new projects, adding about 10,000 new inventories within the year in Laguna, Cavite, Batangas, Pampanga, Cabanatuan and Negros Occidental.
Further, Amaia is diversifying its product range by introducing vertical developments within Metro Manila in the second half of the year. Amaia Skies, a medium to high rise condominium line is perfect for professionals who want independence and accessibility to their workplaces while Amaia Steps is a walk up condominium concept for young and start-up families.

The addition of Amaia Land in the ALI family cements the company's commitment in enriching the lives of more people. The launch of Amaia proves that ALI can very well reach out to other markets aside from the high-end community it is mostly associated with, effectively expanding its already broad line of property projects. After a successful 2010, the company celebrates the new year with another real estate triumph with Amaia's first year mirroring ALI's performance.

In more ways than one, the presence of Amaia Land opens a wider opportunity to own an Ayala Land property that upholds a tradition of excellence, both in its real estate products and services. Rex Mendoza, Ayala Land Senior Vice President and head for corporate marketing and sales even said "Dati akala ng marami kailangan maging mayaman ka para maging Ayala Land property owner. Ngayon, OFWs, private corporation employees and civil servants can own an Amaia Land property."
