Pasig City Neighborhood Guide

Pasig—the epitome of an industrial city, where Ortigas Center, a business district where some of the largest shopping malls are housed.

Established in 1572, Pasig is one of the oldest municipalities in the Philippines. Historical spots still abound the area, the most prominent of which is the Bahay na Tisa, but its cityhood in 1994 paved the way for urbanization.

Other than the Ortigas Center that initially signaled its booming economy, Pasig City houses several shopping complexes. It also boasts of a food district known as Kapitolyo where you can some of the best hole-in-the-walls, the rarest of restaurants you won’t necessarily find in other places in Manila.
