BICUTAN - As progressive and vibrant as it is, Taguig, where Bicutan is located, is the premier residential, commercial and industrial hub while keeping its historic roots. Bicutan is a cluster of villages and is composed of Western Bicutan (the biggest in land area), Upper Bicutan, Central Bicutan, Lower Bicutan and New Lower Bicutan. A weekend in Bicutan is never lonely. With its proximity to Bonifacio Global City and Bonifacio High Street, one can explore the parks with man-made installations particularly in Terra 28th Park, Track 30th and the Kalikasan Garden. Recreation facilities such as Flying Trapeze Philippines, Kidzania Manila and Kidzoona and DreamPlay are housed on or near the area. Bicutan is also a shopping haven from high-end to low-end categories, and with integrated food strips or parks like Mercato Centrale. SUCAT - Although its name was officially changed to Dr. A. Santos Avenue, the locals still refer to the main road as Sucat, the shortened version of Sucat Road. The road is one long traverse from South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) to Ninoy Aquino Road. A convenient access point, there are plenty of recreational centers located at the main road and nearby. Perfect picks are Elorde Sports Center, Jaka Plaza, Penalosa Boxing Gym and Olivarez Sports Complex. Aside from the well-known dining places such as Mama Lou’s Italian Kitchen and Sensei Sushi Bar, there are several hole in the wall eateries and restos including Nel’s Pastries and Specialties, The Knuckle Sandwich Station and The Urban Farm. Not to mention, those diners found in Santana Grove. Shopping malls are also a-plenty from SMs around the area to small scale malls such as Sucat Virramall and Liana’s Shopping Mall to the high-end one like Duty Free Philippines Fiestamall. One more thing Sucat is popular for is the E Service Road where 19 East Bar and Grill is located. The place lets one enjoy and experience the local music scene.
